Planning on getting away this half term?
I am sitting here writing this with steamed up windows, heating on and the constant patter of rain on the roof. It seems as though our British Summer has properly gone now and my thoughts are meandering towards the colder months and those of us who are planning a quick getaway before the inaugural December festivities are upon us.
Flying?
I don’t know about you but I always seem to get in a muddle at airports! The added complication of suitcases which have the habit of tripping me up, hand luggage, children and of course navigating your way through all of the various stages before sitting in your seat; send me nearly into meltdown. That is why having a bag that easily pops over your suitcase handle which holds passports etc., keeps your hands free for everything else you need to control and manoeuvre.
Cruising?
My colleague announced this morning that she is off on one of her much loved cruises and that made me think about what would be the best type of bag to take with you. After much discussion and a little research, it seems the trusty tote bag is a must have staple, especially one with a front pocket so that you can safely stow away your sea-pass card.
Exploring?
The best bag for me by a country mile would be a crossbody bag with plenty of pockets to keep your valuables close at hand yet safe. Giving you the confidence to venture into busy markets to pick up that essential holiday bargain.
Beach?
Bags with personality are a must - brightly coloured stripes, block colours, patterns and motifs…. you are on holiday so anything goes! A beach bag which is lightweight, fold-able has pockets and plenty of room for all of your beach essentials.
